PLC Based Control Systems

The applications for batching systems are endless. In order to meet the needs of our customers we offer several instruments capable of performing some basic as well as more involved batching operations. The picture shows a basic controller with an Allen Bradley system.

When the application calls for formula storage or the ability to operate several scales at the same time we utilize Allen Bradley PLCs. There are many options available for operator interface where we utilize color touch screens, or the many PANELVIEW products that Allen Bradley has available.

Programs using the RSLogix 500 or 5000 programming software allow for complex bach control. In addition, large formula storage, and historical data logging can be accomplished using an integrated PC running MS Access, XL Reporter; or other data base programs.

Our systems are easily linked to other PLC's or DCS systems in the plant thru various communication options.

We provide programs for batching as well as continuous flow control by measuring the change in weight over time.

We can provide all of the hardware required such as (but not limited to) Load cells, Mounting hardware, Junction Box, Digital indicator and controller, Screw feeders, Vibratory feeders, Valves, Variable speed drives and Hoppers.
